MissPurpleheart.com: Its DECEMBER! Lets take CHRISTMAS to the STREETS!

Welcome to the beginning of the end of the year! This is a time for us to reflect back on the year and be thankful for everything! Accomplishments, lessons learned from mistakes made, new friends, family, good times, bad times...we just can't help but be thankful.

Its not too late to complete that project you abandoned, accomplish something before the year runs out, so get started on that thing you've been procrastinating, or better still, make your Christmas count and join the "Christmas on the Streets" train...let's put smiles on faces!

So you know its almost that time of the year. You know the one where we bring out all the lights and the decorations. It’s also that time of the year where we exchange gifts or we give to those who don’t have enough.

So please join us this year as we give back in gratitude for all we have achieved in the course of the year. If you followed the hashtag #ChristmasOnTheStreetZ on twitter, you will recall that we went to Makoko last year and had fun with the locals. We would LOVE for you to join us again this year for a chance to have more fun than we did last year!

Great news: We have added BENIN and ABUJA to the #ChristmasOnTheStreetZ series this year and we are SO EXCITED!!!!

So start getting ready to have lunch with us again like we did last year depending on your location: LAGOS (25TH), BENIN(26TH) and ABUJA(28TH). We will be accepting monetary donations no matter how little to make this happen. So please feel free to give us as much as you can afford. Remember “Tis the Season!!

And as much as we need monetary assistance, we would also be accepting clothes, food stuff, shoes, books and whatever you can spare. We will also want more people to get involved, so please get at us. We need as many volunteers to come out to the different communities with us on that day!
