Gazing at the large cemetery, I asked Dorota, "Who was buried there?", "Lost hope, lost dream, lost love"

Gazing at the large cemetery, I asked Dorota, "Who was buried there?", "Lost hope, lost dream, lost love", she sighed.

We had traveled down to a city east of where we schooled to attend the burial of our course mate William. William was just 23 when he was found dead in his room in school. The doctor said he had suffered a seizure due to the excess amount of drugs he had consumed. William was bright and outstanding, though weird in a calm way, he was loved by many.

Dorota had been the only female in their study group and William had an open but innocent crush on her. "I can't believe he was on drugs", she cried aloud, almost choking in her tears and saliva," he had everything; well-to-do parents, excellent grades, people that loved him, an apartment in school and a car to move around, why then did he choose this path." She wailed as if she was expecting an immediate answer..

William was a product of a broken home, a heart felt pain, a soul that was deprived love, although a wealthy dad to take care of him, but he grew up with a distorted reality. William threw himself into his studies and found solace in drugs. I stood by Dorota and consoled her as we empathized with †ђξ bereaved family.

"What a great loss to the school and our generation,a vacuum that will forever remain in our hearts" Martin said in deep grief as the class representative. Everybody was either perplexed, or gazing deep into space, or heads tucked in-between their chest in deep sorrow.

The scenario twisted my stomach and sent chills to my spine. I told myself, this was the end. William was the envy of many, and had a life most people wished for, but nobody knew his addiction, nobody shared his pains and so he drowned all his problems with drugs.

Every human has that one problem that makes us stay up at night and count the ceiling over and over again thinking of a solution but we fail to realize that. There is no Challenge in this World worth dying for. This is Life, Live it and face it because it goes On, and for every situation encountered in Life's Map , there is always a better way to go about it. Find it. Today is never the end but tomorrow is now.

As we watched William slowly lowered 6ft to the earth, Dorota whispered, "there goes another lost hope, another lost dream, another lost love as I fixed my eyes firmly on the casket to avoid tears.
