Looking good is serious business for us ladies, whether it be a casual look with jeans or a fabulous evening outfit...we all LOVE to look amazing!
But in the quest of attaining this amazing look, we sometimes tend to over-do some things or over-look others...one little secret about looking amazing; you HAVE TO pay attention to detail, no matter how little it may seem...it WILL be noticed! Below are a few things we should try to control and look out for:
Statement Jewelry
The trick here is to pick only one statement jewelry and minimize the rest, if you're wearing a chunky necklace, make sure your earrings are quiet, if you decide to go for chunky necklace and chunky bracelets, make sure the detailing in your outfit isn't too much.
Bare necessity-
Try not to show too much skin, it may look like you're trying too hard...keep it sexy in a classy way; if you decide to show some leg, keep "the twins" in check and if you wanna show some cleavage, there should be a little bit of length to your outfit.
Right Fitted Jeans-
Make sure you buy the pair of jeans that suit your body best...we want to avoid having what we call "love handles" or "muffin top" at the waist line (they are absolutely not attractive) and butt-cracks showing when we sit...fit is very important, you want to flatter your body shape and not distort it...so search hard and long for your perfect fit if you have to!
Make up-
Make sure your make up is moderate and balanced...DON'T over-paint. Choose one feature of your face to highlight at a time since the main point of putting on makeup is to enhance your facial features and not to come out looking "clowny". If you decide to have bold eye make up, go for nude lips...and if u want bright lips, go for a subtle eye makeup.
Footwear-
Don't wear unattractive shoes...yeah i know flip flops could be really comfortable, but they should not be worn everywhere. Invest in a nice pair of flat sandals or ballet flats, you can never go wrong with a nice pair of ballet flats! Keep in mind, your footwear can complete your fab outfit or make your outfit look sloppy and umkempt.
Underwear-
Be sure to pick the right kind of underwear to fit the type of clothing you have on. DON"T let your panty lines be visible, visible panty lines (VPL's) are not attractive at all! Get the right size of underwear because too tight panties can cause VPL's, otherwise, get lace edged panties ...don't let your bra straps show...invest in a good strapless bra or get a change of outfit.
Above all the fashion tips and advice and can give, your attitude is the topping on your "outfit cake"...so carry yourself with confidence and put on the "I'm Fabulous" attitude...and you're good to go!
